Buckley's Son Is An Idiot...

Sorry, Bill, but your son, Christopher, is a moron. A recent column on The Daily Beast website quotes him as saying he will vote for Obama because of the following:
"Republican John McCain has betrayed his principals. McCain has changed positions on important issues, made promises he cannot keep, endorsed unworkable policies, and selected the inexperienced Sarah Palin as his running mate, Buckley writes."

This from the son of one great conservative of our times. Regardless of what positions McCain takes, they can not be as dangerous as the socialist agenda Obama will push once he has the White House and majorities in both the Senate and the House. The reason we are where we are is because Democrats are not afraid to push legislation when they are in power. Republicans seem to be afraid to govern like conservatives. But Obama has PROMISED to raise taxes. He has PROMISED all sorts of socialist programs. Why would anyone begrudge McCain for being soft on some things? At least he is RIGHT on some! Obama is NOT.

And then we come to the inexperience of Sarah Palin. Is this guy smoking crack? Sarah Palin is a hearbeat away... but Obama IS the heartbeat! He has less experience than Palin by a long shot. At least she has run a city and a state as mayor and governor. I just don't understand Buckley's insanity!

I have never been thrilled with McCain as our candidate. But against Obama, it is dumb and dumber. I'll leave it to you to decide who I think is which one!

Counting their chickens...

Democrats are counting their chickens before they have hatched when it comes to President Obama. The longer the campaign goes on (and it seems like it has lasted FOREVER!) the less enchanted citizens are becoming of the Democrats' choice for their candidate. As what happened in 2004, they put up the worst candidate they could find to run against a very vulnerable Bush.

This time they put all their eggs (back to the chickens metaphor) in a basket of the candidate they think has very little baggage and offers "hope" and "change". Once again, with a weak candidate on the Republican side, they are being guided by rabid anti-Bush liberals who are blind to the truth that Obama has no experience... in anything and would vote for Ariana Huffington if she were on the ticket! What they fail to realize is that the rest of us have a vote too.

I might vote Democrat if the right candidate presented him or herself. But Obama is not that person. He as all but told us that he is going to raise taxes and grow government, particularly because these two issues make Democrat wins more possible. And as weak as McCain is (Republicans have made a similar mistake but fortunately have chosen someone who at least has experience!) he is better than Obama. And I predict in the fall we will be talking about President McCain.

Yellowcake in Iraq? Say it isn't so!

So after years of publicizing the fact that Saddam had no WMDs, why is it that the media has not said a thing about the yellowcake uranium that was recently found in Iraq? Seems like that should be BIG NEWS. But, of course, it is being ignored by the press... because the MEDIA LIES by omission! How can we expect anything esle? After all, their job of delivering the news has long since passed. Ever wonder why the first thing dictators do is take over the newspapers???

“Hear about the 550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium found in Iraq? No? Why should you? It doesn’t fit the media’s neat story line that Saddam Hussein’s Iraq posed no nuclear threat when we invaded in 2003. It’s a little known fact that, after invading Iraq in 2003, the U.S. found massive amounts of uranium yellowcake, the stuff that can be refined into nuclear weapons or nuclear fuel, at a facility in Tuwaitha outside of Baghdad. In recent weeks, the U.S. secretly has helped the Iraqi government ship it all to Canada, where it was bought by a Canadian company for further processing into nuclear fuel—thus keeping it from potential use by terrorists or unsavory regimes in the region. This has been virtually ignored by the mainstream media. Yet, as the AP reported, this marks a ‘significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy.’ Seems to us this should be big news. After all, much of the early opposition to the war in Iraq involved claims that President Bush ‘lied’ about weapons of mass destruction and that Saddam posed little if any nuclear threat to the U.S. This more or less proves Saddam in 2003 had a program on hold for building WMD and that he planned to boot it up again soon...Saddam acquired most of his uranium before 1991, but still had it in 2003, when invading U.S. troops found the stuff... That means Saddam held onto it for more than a decade. Why? He hoped to wait out U.N. sanctions on Iraq and start his WMD program anew. This would seem to vindicate Bush’s decision to invade.” —Investor’s Business Daily

What the media does to support its OPINIONS! - They trot out losers!

For example, let's talk about everytime the media wants to dispute something that President Bush has done (Bush has won 2 elections) they bring out Jimmy Carter to criticize! Carter is the worst president in recent history and they make him the expert? Why? It's like those investment "experts" on the talk shows... how many times have they actually ever been right???

Wait, I'm not done. This week, they bring out Tom Daschle to critcize McCain. Now while I am no John McCain fan, why bring out a failed Senator from South Dakota? He LOST his last race because he was so bad. I guess Democrats fail upward!

Who else do we constantly hear from who is a Democrat? John Kerry. Sure, he's a senator, but he's a liar and failed presidential candidate. He was for invading Iraq before he was against it. How gutless must he be to take a position and then pretend he didn't take that position... and the media BELIEVES it. I guess they think we're stupid. But with fewer and fewer viewers and subscribers, maybe we're not that dumb afterall.

Recently they (the media) have also trotted out John Edwards. What? Why? He only served one term in the Senate before his state got tired of his bull$#!+ and elected someone else. Then he failed as a vice presidential candidate before he failed as a presidential candidate. In fact, the only thing he has been successful at is suing on behalf of childen he "channels" during his closing arguments at trial. He is an expert at nothing but hair care products.

Last but not least, let's talk about Howard Dean. He failed at his presidential bid in 2004 when he showed what a nut he is during the primaries. Now he's the leader of the Democratic party? Another example of failing upward.

The media has become a propaganda machine. Rush Limbaugh constantly points it out with sound bytes of news reporters using the EXACTLY same phrase to describe the events of the day... usually where George Bush is failing! How does this happen? Because they are all lazy hacks and nobody is doing any real investigation. Even 60 Minutes has drunk the Kool-Aid. Otherwise, they would have juicy stories along the lines of Shadow Warriors and World War IV about lying Democratics and liberals.
