In spite of the fact that
Nancy Pelosi [clueless] is the speaker of the House for ALL Americans, she refuses to listen to those of us across America who support drilling. If anyone thought that having a very liberal Democrat from California with a track record like hers as speaker of the House of Representatives was a good idea, they were wrong. Even moderate Democrats in California are tired of her shenanigans.
Pelosi’s refusal to listen to anyone other than her left wing environmental pals and let them set our energy policy is mind boggling. While she decides which legislation to bring to the floor for EVERYONE in our country, she stubbornly refuses to listen to the increasing din of voices who are chanting, “Drill here, drill now!”
If you think that’s unfair, we agree. The US held hostage by ONE WOMAN! She is dangerous on this issue, and we urge you to contact your representative (Democrats only) to have her ousted as speaker and put in someone more moderate. Our energy policy is too fragile to be left to someone who obviously ignores the facts that are in front of her and is able to tune out the voices of the majority who now support drilling over any other concerns that now face us… including Iraq!
With approval ratings even LOWER than the President’s one would think that might get a politician’s attention. But in a place like California where her seat is completely safe, Pelosi’s political future is not at stake. Not so with the other Democrats across the country who need to listen to their constituents if they want to remain in office. This is where our hope lies. They need to be shaken up and remove her from the leadership… and we mean NOW!
