First of all, we don't have the money for it... Well, we do, but it's being spent somewhere else.
And
who asks the President a question about whether he would champion a government bailout or not? Someone in the press who is becoming used to the government coming to the rescue to insure that every American everywhere does not lose a single dollar due to their poor choices or unfortunate circumstances.
While I empathize with people who lose money in real estate, I have made a few mistakes myself and never once thought about asking the government to bail me out! What ever happened to personal responsibility? As we get more and more governement we will have less and less of it.
